About the opportunity
An engineering manufacturer in Derby is looking for Assembly Operatives to build components accurately to specification.
What you'll be doing
- Assembling parts using hand and power tools.
- Reading basic drawings and work instructions.
- Checking finished work against quality standards.
- Recording completed work.
- Keeping the work area tidy and safe.
What we're looking for
- Assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Careful attention to detail.
- Able to work as part of a team.
Pay, hours and benefits
Pay: £13.00 per hour.
Hours: 39 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 7am–4pm, Friday 7am–12pm.
This is a temporary-to-permanent position.
Location and working arrangements
Based in Derby. You'll need to be able to travel reliably to the site for each shift.
