About the opportunity
A Peterborough manufacturing site is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to keep production equipment safe, reliable and running.
What you'll be doing
- Responding to breakdowns and fault-finding.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance.
- Repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Recording work in the maintenance system.
- Suggesting improvements to reduce downtime.
What we're looking for
- Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Multi-skilled mechanical and electrical experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of safe working practices.
Pay, hours and benefits
Pay: £42,000 per annum.
Hours: 42 hours a week. Four on, four off, alternating days and nights (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am).
This is a permanent position.
Location and working arrangements
Based in Peterborough. You'll need to be able to travel reliably to the site for each shift.
